Position: Design Services – Lead Engineer

Job Description

 Lead and contribute on processor architecture modelling projects.
 Understanding of custom processor Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) requirements and modelling using Architecture Description Language (ADL) framework.
 ISA exploration and extension with specific performance improvement objectives.
 Lead in providing solution, resolution of design issues in processor design related customer projects.
 Lead multi-member team towards quality execution on a customer project

Technical Attributes

Mandatory:
 Bachelors/Masters in CS/EE from a reputed university/institution.
 7+ years of industry experience.
 Sound in C/C++ with both basic and advanced concepts.
 Knowledge of embedded processor architectures and related concepts like pipelining, caching, instruction level parallelism etc. Sound understanding of RISC architectures.

Preferred:
 Worked on any ADL based technology or ISS modelling
 Embedded application development experience using both assembly and high level languages.
 Experience in embedded software design and debug tools.
 Familiarity with instruction-accurate/cycle-accurate instruction set simulators.
 Experience in SystemC modelling.
 Knowledge of VLIW, SIMD, multi-processor architectures and working knowledge with a few processors from different (ARM, MIPS, or DSP) families.
 Familiar with compiler concepts especially for embedded processor targets.
 Familiarity with Unix-based development environments and tools.
